Huur hier niet! Bedrijf stelt bij uitchecken dat dingen in orde zijn, waar zij vervolgens na het inspectierapport al ondertekend is, alsnog borg voor inhouden. (Ookal was het wel schoongemaakt en bevestigen zij dit zelf) in feite stelen zij dus je geld en je kan er zelf achteraan. Dit is wettelijk zeker niet toegestaan en huur hier dus ook nooit !
Dit zijn dieven.

The worst property management I have ever encountered. Their solutions to urgent matters, such as not having heating or having infestations, are 'wear a warm hoodie' or 'it is common in Amsterdam'. And yet as tenants, we fulfill our payment obligations on time despite the service they don't even provide, but they continuously fail to solve any issues arising.
Their level of neglect and lack of cooperation is unbelievable, resulting in damaged properties, which can be attributed to their neglect, playing up both tenants and owners at the same time. With urgent matters, it is impossible to contact them, regardless of what they state on the phone.

Hello , As you mentioned in your responses to others, we are not doing keyboard terror here and we all respect Dutch laws. But I am still waiting for my security deposit for close to Two Months and after countless email, the first response was four days ago, that it will done by this Week. But its already end of week and we do not see the refund. Is this Not considered as frustration to you ?. The refund amount might be small for you, but that is huge for a foreigner who is pretty new to the country. All we expect is a courtesy to respond to our email and state the exact date for refund, Nothing more!

Update on September : They have resolved the issue and refunded the deposit within a week of this post, understood it is because of resource shortage but a quick response would have toned down the issue, nevertheless, hope this will not be repeated.

They regularly ignore safety or maintenance concerns of residents (I was left without hot water for a month during the winter) and they charge for services they don't provide. When asked for a cost breakdown of the service fees, management consistently admitted that they had no idea what the service fees actually were or which services were being provided. It's been months and they seem to have made no honest attempt to resolve issues regarding the service fees and other maintenance issues that have been reported on multiple occasions through their "client portal". They quickly check off the maintenance requests as "completed", all while entirely ignoring them.

Initially, I believed that Vastgoed Unie did not want to fix some of the issues with the apartment we rented, however, that was not the case as the issues, were for the VVE to solve and unfortunately, Vastgoed Unie had little say in this.

My experience with Vastgoed Unie, after over 3 years of renting with them (despite the issues) has been overall quite positive. Gé, in particular who ran our check-out process, was extremely helpful, flexible, and professional.
