Mike and Maria were a tremendous help getting our property sold! We had canceled our prior listing with another broker, but was away from the country on an extended trip. We had interviewed them previously and they came highly recommended, so we hired them to pick up the listing. The transition was easy. They worked with the prior broker to get access and transfer things over. They got it back up on the MLS and started showing the house. Their advice on sales price was right on and they did quite a few open houses to drive people to the property. Once a buyer was identified, they kept on it, worked with the buyer's realtor and got it closed. They were able to do this without us being in the country! Mike and Maria are a blessing.  They are a team, unlike any other my wife and I have experienced in our decades of both commercial and home real estate ownership.  When you are from the other side of the country, where customs are more casual, selling a home in California can be a cultural shock.  Mike and Maria were so kind and patient as we dealt with all of the anxieties of waiting for that "right person" to come along.   When we needed to remove personal items, to allow potential buyers to see this as "their" home, rather than ours, Maria especially had the simple, best suggestions.   We trusted them....and then it happened.  That right person came along, made an offer... and then we had to vacate the premises 3 weeks after acceptance of the offer.  Not only were they sympathetic to our anxiety, they helped us.  When we needed a mover, they helped us find the best.  And when it was all said and done, we departed to another state, wouldn't  you know that Mike and Maria had another Sotheby's "clone" friend in that out of state town.  She picked up, where Mike and Maria left off.  She helped us find our next "dream home."  She helped us navigate some demanding times.  There was never a moment, where we ever doubted that she had OUR best interests at heart.  She was kind, reserved when appropriate and demonstrative as needed.  All of her efforts, like Mike and Maria's, were in OUR best interests.  The networking skills are a testament to the culture at Sotheby's.  When you do what is best for the client, the rewards follow.  I cannot say enough how much we recognized and appreciated the sincerity, especially at our slightly advanced age.  We're looking forward to another chapter in our lives....and made a few new friends along the way!   Thank you so much Mike and Maria (and you too Janelle in Az)!
