I have just returned to the United States after the final contract signing on a new (very old) house in Cortona. I have had the pleasure of working with Giovanni throughout the entire process from the initial searching phase to the contract signing with the notary. He was there for me every step of the way, always being on time and doing what he said he is going to do. Buying a home in Italy is much different than in the United States and he was very helpful in terms of explaining the process every step of the way. Although his English is very good, he did have access to an interpreter as needed. He is well connected and well respected within the local Cortona which is very valuable in terms of dealing with the banks, insurance companies, and the locals. I highly recommend his agency for any size real estate transaction large or small. His professionalism and knowledge of the industry in invaluable to you when making such a large investment!

My experience has been excellent. Giovanni is super efficient, punctual and precise and most importantly, genuinely friendly and polite. He agency has the best properties for sale in Cortona and the surrounding area at a fair price in a very competitive market. He stuck to the criteria I gave him and only showed me properties of interest, which saved a lot of time. He helped with all the beaurocracy involved in the purchase, obtaining residence, setting up utilities etc. Furthermore, his father Paolo knows all the right people if the place you are interested in needs renovations - a great advantage here. We contacted Giovanni at the end of July to sell our house. From the start of the process, it was clear that Giovanni understood the business, was well connected and had a positive manner. Giovanni had considerable energy and made you feel that he was 100% dedicated to providing you a personal service. He was very thoughtful about how he showed potential purchasers our property and always gave feedback after each viewing. Toward the end of the process it was clear that Giovanni offered much more than just a basic service. He introduced us to a Geometra to help us with the house sale technical documents, he helped us with the local Comune with a number of processes and made sure that the house sale documentation was correct before the signing of the house deed. Giovanni went out of his way to make sure we were at ease with the process and also came to the signing session in Rome with us. Giovanni is highly professional, a very nice person and is highly recommended.
